Costa Rica’s Repretel win 2010 elections with Orad’s election solution

Orad, a world leading provider of real-time broadcasting graphic solutions, recently enabled Repretel, Costa Rica’s leading broadcaster, to win their viewers’ loyalty with their captivating broadcast of the 2010 national elections. 

Repretel, part of Albavision Group, the largest Latin-American broadcasting network, were the envy of all the other broadcasters with their exceptional graphics and real tracking. So much so, that the other broadcasters tried unsuccessfully to emulate Repretel’s flashy and true to life virtual graphics.

As if their unique graphics weren’t enough, Repretel also drew more viewers to their broadcast by offering completely up to the second accurate data. All the election data was updated to their SQL database automatically from the Election’s Supreme Court, without requiring Repretel’s operators’ intervention. Orad’s 3DPlay read the data automatically each time the graphics were displayed, thereby avoiding any delays. The data displayed was always up to the second accurate and was exempt from any mistakes in transmission.
