Dan Falk - Chairman of Board
Mr. Dan Falk has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company since October 2001, and has been the Board’s Chairman since January 2006. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of many other high tech companies. Mr. Falk served as the President and COO of Sapiens International Corporation N.V. He received a master's degree in business administration in 1973 from the Hebrew University School of Business and had 15 years experience in finance and banking, including senior positions at Israel Discount Bank Ltd., prior to joining Orbot.
Daniel Furman - Director and member of audit committee
Daniel Furman is the founder and Managing Director of Arba Finance Company Ltd.
Prior to founding ARBA in 1978, Daniel served as the Finance Manager of Aircraft Trading and Services Inc., an international company specializing in trading and leasing commercial aircraft. He was a Senior Consultant for National Consultants (Israel); a member of the Corporate Finance department of Eurofinance in Paris; and an assistant to the Vice President of Corporate Planning of Israel Aircraft Industries Ltd.
Daniel is a director of Orad Hi-Tec Systems, the Cohanzick off-shore funds and LFSDM Ltd. From 2004 to 2010 Daniel was a director of The First International Bank of Israel and from 2006 to 2010, he was a member of the Board of Pricer AB, a Swedish public company. Between 1993 and 2000, Daniel served as a Director and Member of the Investment Committee of Ilanot-Batucha, one of Israel's leading mutual fund managers.
He holds a B.A.in Economics and Statistics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an MBA from INSEAD.

Jackie Goren - Independent Director
Ms. Jackie Goren Rozenblum is the Managing Director of Global Business Studies at the Recanati Graduate School of Business at the Tel-Aviv University and serves as a Board Member of a number of public companies. Ms. Goren Rozenblum received a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science from the Hebrew University , an LL.B. degree from Tel-Aviv University, and an Executive MBA joint degree from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University (Illinois USA) and the Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration, Tel-Aviv University.
Shimon Ravid - Independent director
Mr. Shimon Ravid has many years of finance and managing experience. He is a retiree of the Bank Hapoalim Group, where he served in different capacities from 1989 to 2001, including Chairman of Bank Otzar Hahayal, a subsidiary of Bank Hapoalim (2000-2001), Joint Managing Director, CFO, Head of International Division and Chairman of the bank’s subsidiaries abroad (1994-1999), and Senior Deputy Managing Director (1989-1994). He also serves as a director in a number of companies. Mr. Ravid holds a B.A. degree in Economics and Statistics, an M.A. degree (cum laude) in Economics, and a Ph. D. degree in Economics, all from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Avi Sharir - CEO and President
Mr. Avi Sharir, President and Chief Executive, co-founded the Company and has served as a member of the Board of Directors and President and Chief Executive Officer since the Company began operations in 1993. From 1991 to 1992, Mr. Sharir was the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Optrotech Ltd. From 1974 to 1990, Mr. Sharir worked for Tadiran Ltd. ("Tadiran"). From 1989 to 1990, he was President of the Communication Group, which developed and manufactured sophisticated military communications equipment. From 1988 through 1989 he was a corporate Vice President of Tadiran and also served as the Components Group president. From 1979 to 1989, Mr. Sharir also served in a variety of roles such as Business Manager of Customer Premises Equipment and General Manager of the Network Products Division. Mr. Sharir received a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
Mr. Joel Warschawski has been serving as the President of Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity Management Ltd. (the private equity arm of the LCF Rothschild Group in Israel) since its inception in 2000. From 1993 to 2000 he served as President of J.C. Technologies Ltd., an early stage venture capital company. From 1991 to 1997 he was the Director General of Patir Research and Development Ltd., a three times awarded Technological Incubator. From 1984 to 1991, Mr. Warschawski served in different technical and managerial positions at Luz Industries Israel Ltd., a solar power plants world leading company. From 1983 to 1984 he was an Electro-Optical Engineer in a project of the Israeli Ministry of Energy. Mr. Warschawski is a Physicist and an Engineer in Electro-Optics from the Jerusalem College of Technology.
Mr. Uzi Peled, age 72, has many years of managerial experience. From 1993 to 2004 he was the Managing Director and Part Owner of Tel-Ad Broadcasting, a private company that held a franchise to broadcast on Channel 2 of the Israeli television. Mr Peled is also the producer of over 800 documentary films, TV programs and series. Mr. Peled holds a B.A. degree in Economics & Statistics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an M.A. degree in Sociology from Brandeis University, USA. As of May 2010, Mr Peled resigned from Orad's Board of Directors, and was appointed Special Advisor to the Board in the field of broadcasting.
