Morpho 3D 2.7 Release

Morpho Release

September 26th 2010

Integration with Newsroom Systems

  • Morpho now supports connections to newsroom systems using MOS protocol. An active X plug-in is installed on each Newsroom client. From this plug-in, the journalist can select graphic templates and populate them with content. Each template can be inserted in the Newsroom system's rundown. The Newsroom system will send the final rundown to Orad's MOS server, and Morpho will retrieve the rundown from there, and make it available for playout.

7 Page Layers

  • Morpho now offers up to 7 layers increasing one's creative freedom dramatically, including the ability to play and control 7 different pages at the same time while on-air.

Export to 3Designer

  • Morpho now supports the export of graphic content into 3Designer's format enabling an upgrade path from Morpho to Maestro or 3DPlay. This feature  addresses customers with complex workflows which combine  several products who do not want to compromise on usability. This feature also allows using Morpho as an authoring tool, replacing 3Designer for customers that require an easier authoring tool, but still want to have all the advantages offered by our advanced controllers.

Output Routing options

  • Output routing options from the DVG Control Panel were added to the Render Engine’s preferences.
