Orad enriches ESPN STAR Sports launch of ESPNEWS with captivating and innovative on-air graphic platform
Orad, a world leading provider of real-time broadcasting graphic solutions, has provided Asia's leading sports broadcaster and content provider, ESPN STAR Sports, with a state-of-the-art on-air graphic and virtual set system.
ESPN STAR Sports, which recently launched the first 24/7 sports news channel ESPNEWS, based its production on Orad’s on air graphics and virtual studio solutions. Consisting of highlights, scores, updates and comprehensive sports information, ESPNEWS delivers content from local, regional and international sporting events in a viewer-friendly format.
ESPN STAR Sports’ other sports programmes also features Orad’s dynamic and captivating graphic rendering, which includes smart tickers updated automatically in real time thanks to Orad’s on air graphics system, featuring a forward-looking intelligent logic that populates the data directly from PA Sport’s data feed as well as ENPS newsroom system.
With Orad’s on-air graphics, ESPN Star Sports can offer sports actions and highlights, while displaying bottom line graphics streaming results, top-line graphics with updated news, and sideline graphics displaying standing, rankings and statistics, all in real time. Moreover, the channel’s layout and on-air graphics system also offer advertisers the flexibility to be more creative in their on-air elements and provide innovative branding and sponsorship placements opportunities.
ESPN STAR Sports’ broadcasts are also enriched by Orad’s ProSet’s virtual studio, which as extensively used for a variety of productions shows.
The SD/HD ProSet, which is their 2nd virtual studio developed by Orad, enables ESPN Star to route up to five HD live sources to the virtual studio.
