• Field Project & Support Engineer - UK Office

   

  Objective:
   

  The field support engineer will have direct interaction with customers, from the stage of project definition, installation, implementation and product support for all Orad products. The field engineer will work closely with corporate support and local operations, sales and administrative staff.

  Responsibilities include:

  • Definition/installation/integration of new sites/customers and new solutions
  • On-going support and maintenance of existing Orad systems
  • Training customers on Orad’s solutions
  • Remote and on-site technical support
  • Assist sales/marketing with technical presales support

   

  Position requirements:

  • Experience in customer support
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Capable of working independently and in a team in a highly demanding and diverse environment
  • Self-learner
  • Willing to travel frequently both domestically and internationally
  • Strong organizational capabilities and able to take initiative
  • Full time position
  • Position based in Leatherhead/London.

   

  Experience in:

  • Windows and Linux operating systems
  • 3D graphics
  • Working in broadcasting environment, studio, mobile or both
  • Databases - SQL, ODBC, etc.
  • Programming in VBasic, JSript, BAT, C/C++
  • HW troubleshooting, parts diagnostic and replacement
  • Virtual set technology (advantage)

• Technicien - France

  ORAD FRANCE (www.orad.tv), PME de 8 personnes, fabricant de solutions d'habillage 3D & Studios Virtuels pour le domaine du Broadcast (media TV), recrute des Technicien(ne)s Support bilingue(s) anglais en Contrat à Durée Indéterminée, postes à pourvoir rapidement.
  Vous aurez en charge l'installation (Hardware et Software) des produits sur les sites clients et formerez les utilisateurs.
  Vous assurerez l'assistance téléphonique en français pour répondre aux sollicitations quant à l'utilisation du matériel.
  Des déplacements à l'étranger sont à prévoir.

  Qualifications requises :

  • Diplôme technique (Bac Pro/BTS/DUT) lié à l'informatique
  • Anglais opérationnel courant et technique

  Vous devrez être en mesure de lire, de comprendre de la documentation technique, mais aussi de rédiger couramment en anglais technique.

  Connaissances appréciables :

  • Network : Windows2003 server, Active Directory, LAN, WAN
  • Environnement Graphique : Logiciels 2D et 3D 
  • Base de données : Language SQL
  • Programmation : Base en langague crypté (C/C++, C# ...) ou Language Script (VBA, JScript, BAT, Bash ...)
